Seeking information about Augusta Chambers' later career

I was surprised to learn from a Brooklyn Directory that Augusta Chambers became the business partner of my great great uncle J. Alfred Britton, co-owning a school of acting and elocution and serving in a dramatic society with him in Brooklyn in the 1890's.  Newspaper articles on the Fulton Postcard site indicate that Augusta Chambers was the daughter of a newspaper man from Buffalo of unspecified name and was based there in the 1880's with a theater manager/leading man and husband named coincidentally Alfred Britton.  (There also was a third actor, a St. Louis man from Canada, named Alfred Britton).  I believe that Buffalo Augusta is the Deadwood Augusta since, among other reasons, she published her book inspired by Deadwood in Buffalo and was acting there by 1880 not at all long after her career at Deadwood.  I would very much appreciate learning anything more about her association with Alfred Britton since I am trying to puzzle out whether he was a relation of J. Alfred, and thus to me.  I also would like to know whether Augusta Chambers was a stage name, since I can find no record of anyone by this name for the expected dates and places in any of the standard genealogical records.  thank you!
